14-1

I haven't posted on here in a while, as I;ve not had anything interesting I deemed worthy. More on that later.

As my channel (unfortunately) grows, I notice that there is a trend of people who for whatever reason simply cannot accept the fact there are people who are doing what they pretend to do, and they view it as being sassy, I view it as real shit. Different era, I guess. And because because they cannot "hang from the shoulders" (meaning make toy cars do what I'm doing--oh my) they turn to "hate".In the grand scheme of things its disappointing.

For those that know me, they realize I'm kind of different in that I grew up kind of a "street urchant" make big money in the pro boxing world, learned technology as it was happening (real-life, Silicone Valley shit) and made more money doing that. People laugh as I'd work with Roy Jones Jr and his camp one day, developing new software protocols the next.

I don't know if I was just lucky, skilled, or both...but it's just my background. With that, I have strong relationships with some incredibly successful (as in VERY successful) people from a breadth of industries.

I don't hate: I appreciate.

A few months ago, I was chatting with and old acquaintance, Sugar Ray Leonard when he was in town to announce a fight on NBC. Most guys my age should know who he is, but if not I assure you he was very well known back in the day. Irregardless, I tease him as I was not a fan of his coming up. I'm a Hagler/Hearns guy (and don't back down from that) and without going in to detail was the guy who would find people for guys like that to fight so they could grow as champions. Basically a pro boxing "scout"...at the highest level. Anyway, Ray is much older than me and I respect him very much. I was not his fan,but he better than Hagler/Hearns. Real shit and I recognize it. Anyway, when I saw him last he told me "I found out quickly the better I got the more popular I became. The more popular I became, the more people hated me...just because...that's life, John" In other words, "Fu*k it". ;-)

I've determined right now that for every 14 "advocates" I have....this being people who truly appreciate what I'm doing here, which is allowing you to get a peak behind the curtain as I ;learn this challenging hobbty there is 1 person who is as "hater"/ I determine this because I'm tortured at night by those who are jealous..either that or I'm a stats geek. Don't remember.

Either way, that;s a pretty strong ratio of people...well--who get it..

It's interesting, as I';ll pubslish a video that is,, say 12 minutes long, as an example. Within 30 second of publishing, I'll already have 1 :"hate". Of course then the likes begin piling up for those who are, well....real. I mean how do you hate someone saying "here are some tips you can try that I've yet to see anyone ever offer, let alon show the results".; In the event you have a problem with it, talk about it....but of course they cannot.

Here is how I envision these haters. Not mincing words here as if someone has issues over toy cars, well I'm a little fascinated with that. ;) I see 'haters' as:

  • Typically a generation younger than I am (mid-30's).
  • 1/4 in to having a family, starting to doubt their true worth now that they've been to the mountain top, reality has a way of introducing itself.
  • When the lights are low, kids tucked in, they put on their lipstick and panty hose, kick back with boxed wine and start to relieve their anxiety it a cowardly way.
In all seriousness, God bless 'em. I've never, ever mentioned religion on my channel, but I am a man of faith so truly want the best for all of man kind. Even little bitches like that. This is no joke.Until then,. it's almost an odd science experiment trying to understand at what point will this odd segment of our society realize that reality has indeed been introduced and staring them down collectively, or individually? Makes none to me either way, believe that or not. My life doesn't change either way/

They said to write something interesting on this blog (still sounds so gay), and this what I find interesting. Go Cowboys! ;-;)
