One of the areas I've always championed, is for my fellow newbie brothers to have at least a base understanding of how to set up an off-road rc vehicle for it's specific environment, I started a video series you can see down below.
It wasn't a very popular series, so I stopped because I did not think it was adding much value. This is okay, and does change the importance that I, at least, put on understanding the basics of what makes these vehicles perform certain ways. I got in to this hobby to "tinker' and setting up your vehicle is as tinkering one you can get..because to understand it, it's tedious.
I also created this series to help protect against these high-brow conversations online.

Hey all, I finally got my Savage started. I pretty much knew all along what it was, I just wanted to see if you were all thinking the same thing. After sealing the engine it only took me 1.5 days to start' 'er up and boy I got her dialed like nobody;s business. I'm in this hobby to break stuff and spend MONEY! LOL. What's good to buy?

It's a Sway Bar kit. Stops the little bugger from flipping over.

Start with the thin one. The thick one might be too much for a beginner. Sometimes you don't wanna go straight when goin' fast. Well, fast like me not many people can do that tho.

TWSS again!
I finally put the swayer on and even though i'm still in my fourth tank, it's like a completely different truck. Believe the Hype, I don't see how it can be driven without one. Boy that sway bar makes it stay straight at high speeds. You'd be a fool not to have one!!

Did you really notice a different going straight? I just ask because my understanding is sway bars only affect turning, specifically the traction that can be gained/waned based on chassis roll for that side of the vehicle,

Look. I'm not in to all that fancy specific stuff. I just beat the snot out of my Savvy! That's all I know. I drive it til it falls apart.

I'm just asking as you noted one would be a fool to not have a sway bar. Can you elaborate a little? I'll share my analysis as well for those interested. Always open to learning and sharing experiences, It's how we all get better, no?

@NitroNerd There is no need for your haughty attitude and causing problems. Slip up again I'll squash those dreams of yours to be on this forum.

Real or no? Stick around to find out.
Anyway....for a lot of the remaining setup 'crap', I'm just going to post it here (including blog-only vids). The way I see it, whoever wants to know about it will find it. ;-) Here are a few in the series.
