Guys, alcohol and keyboards don't mix. You would not believe the things I've read people write. One of my early jobs had the first company firing for what someone wrote online. (MySpace.) Ha ha,. But it made national news. I talked to the guy who got canned back then he had a lot of problems with his boss. I remember asking "why didn't you just talk to him (or somebody here?)" I thought it was chicken-s to fire him...though. I would have just called him in and asked if he had a problem.
Always be about what you say online is what you would in real life. I guess because I'm pre-Internet that is en-grained in me. Believe me, guys like me are always able to trace back people. I get a resume, within 20 minutes I have a profile of this person regardless how small of a footprint they think they have. This is simply how it is. Nothing online is private. NOTHING. Our cars are toys, just like this damn Internet thing is toy. This is friendly advice I give to everyone. Please be careful and think twice.
Knowing all this, why would you drink and hit that keyboard. Maybe you just don't give a fu*ck, who knows?
Some Cool Documents
On a side note: I have some documentation I will be publishing soon. Among those will be a
Nitro Engine Tuning Guide.
I'm going to publish one of the first chapters on here shortly, I have some thoughts on how to publish this, I know it will be a valuable artifact. For you forum guys, I promise you it's going to be an eye=opener. You will be amazed at how silly it is when you consider the extreme opposite. I am a Sociologist, I spent YEARS studying how cults form, and here is what how I found people respond:
1. They eventually see the light and are mad.
2. They eventually see the light and are sad.
3. They eventually see the light, but are too deep in it to admit they have been fooled (and fooling others).
"It's just RC man" is their next defense. Of course it is (I've been the proponent of that message, remember?) But RC is merely the subject. The act of deceitfulness is what I'm talking about. The fact that it's about RC is a little, strange, but we all have our little issues, I guess. Haha. Real shit and you know I'm right.
On The Non-RC Front
I'll be publishing some Productivity Management techniques as I'm writing a book on that discipline. It's like the only thing the RC-haters can say is "You have too much time on your hands": (due to our videos). Funny, as in reality it's simply: I'M JUST LIKE THAT. Ha ha. I control my scene. You should pray you should ever be able to take on what I do.
Anyway, I know it sounds boring, but i was actually involved with Palm Pilot's initial "To Do" app so have been around the philosophical and technical aspects of this discipline. i.e. I imagine what I have to offer will be useful to at least one person. ;-)
