I can spot myself six times in this vid. Ha ha. For those that don't know the USA has a heavyweight that is straight taking heads.

This is a public service
I received this message from someone I've never communicated with online nor in person. Thought I would share with you.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Nitro RC Nerds. I wanted to pass along some information, or better yet, a thank you for opening my eyes about our forum. I have been a supporting member for over five years. After following your channel and ultimately witnessing what you have claimed about this forums staff, I along with several other members spoke up (I know of six others). I've pasted my message below, along with some highlights of the response I received. The other members who spoke up were treated the same way. their posts deleted and told they will be banned for questioning staff. We each asked for a refund on our membership, which was denied. Feel free to add this information to your channel and thanks for everything you do in this hobby. We need more people like you I am sure you've inspired many people to follow suit. That is what I call making a difference. What they are doing is stealing money.
I'm a long time paying member of this forum. Unfortunately, I created an incognito account just to post this, as I'm confident I would get "banned" or "punished" for writing this. Sad but true.. Anyway. here goes: Rolex, what is your problem???
Seems this guy hasn't caused any problems and definitely has brought some thoughtful insite most newbies to this forum don't bring. All you have done is berade him.
May I suggest you try going by your common sense rather than your "Spidy sense", as you look plain silly with posts such as this. Is that your true worth here? If so, he's got you skunked because his last three visits here have provided more insight than you do in a year.
Are you afraid of him, Rolex? I dunno, I find it concerning you are so quick to delete posts and ban users for the shear fact of making you look good.
What's got me, is throughout the years, I've seen you treat people very poorly. Little by little it's become worse. I'm sorry to say this, but that's true and long time members know this. Whether they agree with your behavior can be debated, but the acts itself cannot. Perhaps you are the one who "needs a vaction" from this?
Should it not be concerning when a moderator is often behaving worse than the members? Not abiding by the rules he enforces? What is the point of being a moderator on this forum, I wonder? All the other moderators are great, and you used to be, but I'm not sure what's gotten in to you, my friend. To engage in verbal combat with others and kick those off who are able to stand up to you? Really, Rolex? I've lost count how many times you have done this, but if you want to press your line I can bring some hard data.
You might step carefully here as he's engaged advertisors who are watching real time. You are simply banning people out of hate, but with no real cause. I don't think your "well, he *would have* caused problems wil lfly anymore, because he obviously isn't. Yet you are more adamanet about your silly "Spidey sense" instead of fostering the type of environment you guys claim..and that is to discuss RC. Facts are facts. He's doing nothing but talking RC and helping others, and you are doing nothing but acting like a little child. I assure you I am not the only one who feels this way,.
I'm sure this post will stay up just long enough for you to guage how many people will come to your defense. It really doesn't matter. I don't dislike you (I don't even know you). It's a sad day for this forum when someone new can't join us with differening opinions. If you disagree, then engage him. I think I know you you ^THINK^ it is, and assuming it is....I'm not quite sure who you think you are to dismiss him. It's very evident he has done a lot for the nitro hobby, they have huge following (much more than subscribers on this forum) in their YouTube pages, their forums, etcetera. Not for nothing, but you are just a moderator on this forum, whose 'talk' has yet to be backed up. We've never even seen your vehicles in action so check nuts before going at someone next time., You just look silly, Rolex. Okay, ban away (I;ll be on with my real account soon). Shame I have to go incognito like this, but with moderators like you, it's what we have to do. ;-(
I'm not 'hating' the Rolex. I'm hating the Rolex acts. Please respect that. Also, feel free to ban me as I'll never post from this account again. And you'll never know who I am other than a long-time paying member who is finally speaking up on this. God Bless and think through it. We are all human and I only want the best for this forum..
p.s. If you are man enough to leave this post up, I am man enough to divulge my real handle on here. This is a good step for you in learning how to properly communicate.
------------------------------------
The response I received from "Rolex" was twice as long as my post, and send only to me. Some quotes are:
"You are not to question staff decisions"
"Irregardless as who is correct, no member shall question a staff member"
"Staff members are free to treat members as we please without being questioned by any members supporters or not".
I also sent a message to Woodie whom I believe owns the forum. His was response to me was "Fuck off"
OMG. You have not been joking about this group have you?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I appreciate this gentleman sharing the intel with me, and it's no surprise. What people need to truly realize here is that do not mention this unless questioned at which case you are told "keep quite about it or you will join them.
LOOK: They are free to conduct business however they like and I am free to tell people however I like. Isn't this a beautiful country?
Here is how I am going to deal with it. Something we called back in the day, with the "swiftness" ha ha.
1. I have a friend who is a c-level exec at AMain hobbies. He's invited us on site, in fact. I'm going to set up a conference call with Kendall (their CEO) and their CMO to ensure they understand how their advertising dollars are being sent. They will then be invited to witness for themselves should there be any question. This includes racial posts by Rolex as well as other "hate speech" which he deleted. No worries I have all the screen shots and they can always ask for the the logs from the vendor if there is any question that truly needs to be put down. Basically I'm done playing with him
Amain is their biggest sponsor, but I know the top people in the majority of their sponsors, and will be reaching out all of their advertisers. It';s an opportunity for them to show the integrity for which each of their business models are built. Should they dismiss it, fine. No one can stop that. However, I will ensure my nitro brothers understand which companies are soley about the cash and not the customers. It's just like that.
A while back I was asked by someone in this hobby whom I respect very much: "Whatever you do, please get that Rolex back". I ensured I would.
I view this as a good deed to society so am going put it down real quick, step back, publicize, and let everyone who was potentially dup'ed here: "You're welcome. I got this" -)
Finally, this is what everyone should know. I've won. I'm content. My mission is accomplished. You see, this all occurred at least 2 1/2 years ago when the first person came to me and said "Thank you....this has saved me money and a great deal of headache otherwise I would have fallen for the things they say". I was only after ONE person. That is the number of people I cared "got it". Everyone else is merely a bonus. So please...none of this "gets to me" or any of that. It's fun! I'm making a positive difference in our wonderful hobby. I'm thankful I am able to and will continue to pick up a camera and put it down.

Temps and Tuning
I have a video coming out hopefully later today to augment this, but below is a prmer. In fact this is the excact post that got me 'banned' from that whack-ass forum. If you are on that RC Nitro Talk forum, I'd be wondering why posts like this are being deleted and members banned over it.
Me? I'm going to have my say regardless, but Id be real, real curious as to why post that potentially help people and at a minimum spark friendly, insightful dialogue is being dismissed. If you find out, let me know. ;-)
------------
[In response to people having 'theories' on temps and tuning']
I don't see it as a theory. Hmmm...the best way I can explain it is: some folks have their opinion on who won world war II." ;-) In other words, this is simple fact as I know it. Temps not only play zero role in an engines tune, I'll go as far as saying they can often be a liability. I could be wrong, and below is my experience and welcome this discussion for where I'm inept in any way.
Please don't misinterpret me here. I'm more than willing to engage in this, as I feel it is an important subject. I know spiderman or whatever is a popular subject ;-) but I'm here to talk RC.
The tempature of a nitro engine has nothing, zero, nada (you get the idea) with the tune of it, no more than the color of the engine.
Do you agree that an engine can be tuned at any temperature? If so, than think....how does that value play a role in the tuning process? At what point do you employ the temperature of an engine when analyzing whether it is tuned or not? In other words, agnostic of the temp, it is either tuned or not tuned.
Oh, trust me. I used to "believe" that the temperature was important for tuning. It's what I'd been told on forums such as this. However, here is what I found:
1. Temp guns are extremely inaccurate. Of course I went through meticulous calibration exercises (electric heat, boiling water, etc) and the result was always "this thing doesn't know what the true temperature is".
2. I own five different makes of temp guns. The variances are 7-20 degrees. Meaning that they are all at least 7 degrees difference with the two extremes having ~20 degree difference. To take it further while I have five makes, I have six temp guns. Two of them are the same "Lost Temp Tuner". They are 12 degrees apart in readings. Everything from a battery's current charge, to a finger smudge on the infra-lens will make all the difference in the world. Bottom line, I have found them to simply be inaccurate. If anyone thinks I should try some additional methods let me know. Certainly not saying it's impossible to obtain a true temperature of an engine, I'm saying based on my experience, it's extremely rare....
3. You noted 250-260 I think. I have engines that scream bloody murder at 225 and some at 295. This of course depends on when I take them and with which temp gun. Thus with temp guns being inaccurate, and all engines (even same make) being different, I fail to see the correlation between temp taken by a hobbyist and their analysis of a tune. I hope that makes sense. In other words, I'm trying to understand what correlation you even have with respect to the two.
However, let's assume someone chimes in with "here is what you need to do to get accurate temps", I say thank you, now we know the temp of the engine. And? The temp, at most, is the end result. Meaning that for it to become hot, it has to be lacking proper lubrication. BEFORE it gets "hot" it's in a lean condition...one that can be read *much more accurtately* than the temps. If you let it lean out, then the engine will get "hot". Ah....but what is hot? Certainly the method of tuning is not to let it lean out, take the temp, and then compare if that temp is close to the last time it leaned out, and if it is....and? If it isn't....and?
I had my epiphany on temp guns when we were at our lakehouse a few years ago, and I forgot all of them. One of my engines was relatively new, but I started thinking: everyone who'd always advised me to stay completely away from temp guns while tuning because they are agnostic of actual tune, well....their engines ripped. Much more so than those who feel it plays ANY sort of role. You see, to me, there is no "debating" it. There are no different theories. There is only fact as I know it. I own a stable of engines that get off pretty good and I've yet to take their temps. Prior I struggled to get them thumping like I'd wanted to.
Full disclosure: I don't even use temp guns when breaking in engines. I know it probably gets some of ya'll agitated but would ask you understand I've broken in a plethora of engines without them and many have 10+ gallons and are still rocking and rolling. Once again, facts. If you go back to my experience on accuracy, then it makes sense as a false reading during break in is much more dangerous than tuning....or good ol' common sense.
As stated, I did not want to hijack the other post where you replied, and do agree it's a great topic for any nitro rc forum. One thing I'm not, when it comes to this subject, is close-minded. Hell, if I was I doubt I would have ever ditched them. So, please by all means let me know what I'm missing here, or how a temperature plays any role in assuring a tuned engine. If you simply disagree, then no problem. Hopefully some folks new to the hobby at least got to read another viewpoint and decide for themselves. Thanks in advance for the great dialogue on this subject - all of you. I travel quite a bit so forgive lack of responses but again this is a great topic in my opinion.
On a positive note, i received the following from members (I don't even know) who did get to see it before it was taken down.

'This is a breath of fresh air. I can't say anything you are doing is incorrect, I can just say it's nice to see another viewpoint about this on here'
'Well put'
'This post has opened my eyes some. Thank you! Please post more.'
The last response made my day. That was the ONE person, I always hope get it. More the better, but as long is there is one....;-) Anyway, more to come on my vid,.

I wasn't wanting beef, but thank you - let's do this
Okay, for all you GHOULS out there who like to watch beef, see how I take down a moderator on a forum. When I was growing up we called it "Check-a-bitch" that meant when someone who was opening their mouths when they should not have were told to shut he f*ck up. If they had a problem with that folks were swift in helping to clear up any ambiguity.
Tonight I had four people email me and say "...they deleted everythin, when I asked why my post was deleted and I was banned. Three three of them being on there for 4 years.
What in the hell were they talking about?? Ohhhhhh....that forum.
Tonight I had four people email me and say "...they deleted everythin, when I asked why my post was deleted and I was banned. Three three of them being on there for 4 years.
What in the hell were they talking about?? Ohhhhhh....that forum.
So basically this guy is like Hitler in hi final days. Killing everyone who comes close to his bunker,. He's being taken out, he knows it and I know it.
If you did not follow this might as well stop reading because I don't have the will to go in to detail. But the succinct version is they banned me yet again providing factual information. What they are missing is something most of you probably6 figured out (if you are smart) and that is, I'm a MF'er. That guy Rolex is a bitch. If you don't understand, this means that in our relationship, I'm the man, and she is the woman. This is not to be crass, but instead brutally honest which is something this channel is built off of.
If you missed, one gentelam had trouble with his engine. The 4-5 who contiually post on there kept coming up with whack-ass suggestions, to the point of "betcha compression is gone..engine is toast"
I've been told my life, I'm a MFer, and I've always been told I'm a GOOD MFer, so here goes: I gots to say something because the original poster will take their lead and sink more money into this hobby than necassary. I simply showed my engines in every "state" they could come up with, each time ripping ass. I then provided some suggestions as to what I thought it was.
Poof! It was all taken down. So that is as bitch act as one can get, right? This goes from ignorant to malicious. I think so, and I've engaged many of the sponsors of that forum for their thoughts. As an ecxample. I've reached out to Kendell at Amain to determine if he sees a conflict with the forum's charter per his adverstising deal, in addition to ensuring the payment system will refund money due to breach of contract (I've kept screen shots and a team of 7 indivuduals on that forum who will attest to all of this). It's pretty jacked up, and know this; If I die tomorrow, I want folks to know that at least I stood up against frauds like this because I PROMISE you 99.9% of those who can, wll, can't be bothered. This is where I differ from those fools as well.
p.s. One of the four who inquired why my posts have been removed (ultimately being banned themselves is a sponsor who was seeing if I told him was true.) Ha ha Basically I'm taking their funding away. Then it will be interesting to see how they operate with an owner "Woodie" (Michael) who once told me "To be honest I've never run my rc's outside of my backyard. As long as I get my check each month from this forum, I don't care what goes on."
That is disgusting....I don't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks on that subject, I've not having that sort of bullshit.
Here is the state of this forum:It's 4-5 people who moderate for a forum that gets a lot of traffic due tro it's 'action'. The actin is that of newbies. So it's a a situation where a newbie is directed to that site simple because others were (it's exponential) They make fun of new peolple. When someone such as myself proves any sort of threat to them, one of them "Rolex" bans and deletes. He obviously has a drinking problem, and based on what's he's written he is a welfare recipient who sits and goes on drunken tirades to individuals.
Back to sponsors, you see I'm pretty engaged in this hobby. That's real. For the 2-3 sponsors I don't know, if they aren't with it I will press my line. By that, I will then want to understand if they can explain to their userbase why they are financally supporting a website where leadership is posting racial comments/jokes,with no accountability. If they are cool with it it, hey...it's their marketing budget. However, I imagine most CEOs are not awre.
So yeah! I got beef. I say this because anyone will ltell you in "real life" I'm the most chill guy in the world and foster a drama-free atmosphere. But I'm kind of funny in the head so will put it down and smooth tear up some shit when I want to. ;-) So...much respect to the ghouls out there slowly rubbing their palms. It's gonna get real grimy. Ha ha It's funny but true. I say watch and enjoy.

Forgive me for Being Slow
Certainly it's been done before?
If you ' had the misfortune of seeing my last two videos, you'll realize two things:
1. I discovered the built in movie creator for the iOS
2. I wonder: if break in REALLY the important?
I think we all agree, should one ask of the importance of a break in on these basher forums you would get every level of hyperbole their little minds can muster up, (and hell yes I admit it's greatness), however, unfortunately, 99.9% if not 100% of them truly have not experienced these things on which they spea. Fancy way of saying they are full of sh*t.
I mean I am somewhere between 38-40 engines I've broken in, and I assure you all of them did not go alike. Say what you will, but that's some pretty salty experience compared to these guys with 1, 2, hell TWENTY engines. It is what it is. So, now if I have these questions after my experience, either I'm one stoopid SOB, they are all geniuses, a mixture of both...or "gasp" they are pulling things out of their ass, or repeatint what's been yanked from someone else rectum.
First I have to define break-in: it's the manner in which one brings an engine from a non-functioning state to an optimized state. The end result is an engine what will respond to the variables such as, air/fuel mixture, heat, pressure waves, etc.
So while yes, to make the statement: "It's the difference between running and not running" so are a million other things however the pre-condition here is that it has been broken in per my definition above.
With that, the the question is Does the break-in Process make a Difference,? we have to define "difference".
In my mind, there are two interests: peak performance, and longevity. Meaning that if I 'screw up my break-in'....what's gonna happen? Will the engine not be as strong as it normally would/ Will it be as strong but parts will wear sooner? Both? Neither?
I Don't Know If It Makes a Difference
Please understand that engines behave differently. I have four of those F4.6 and they perform slightly different. Is this due to break in? Hell, I have NO IDEA.
Guess What?
I won't have an idea after this little experiment either. But I'll know SOMETHING. So if the thought is you should never go WOT until the sixth tank, yet I'm going WOT the second tank....and five gallons later I show you the engine rippin' ass....I'll say waiting until the sixth tank to go WOT is bullshit. But that is talk-talk.
Now if I show you that engine compared to the SAME engine broken in a different way...well know we are learning things. Everybody.
In my next video I'll tell you what I DO know....as while I'm wanting feedback on what a good antithesis break-in will be,I'm obviously not going to reinvent the wheel.
Finally, I totally understand I'm not splitting the atom here. I've got no agenda, nor to be candid, no preconceived notions. Not looking to prove anyone or anything right or wrong. I'm confident that there are pros whom have conducted like tests (or better), but I'm just a chump with a camera curious about something that gets a lot of rah-rah talk, and before I speak on it I want to know I am really about that.

For you losers, lemme get out my calculator and put it down
Always a Pleasure
Below is a link to something I've spoken about several times. Surprisingly enough, this is from our latest "perfect example of a flatline basher". Otherwise known as "I'm a pro and know everything about nitro engines" guy.
In all seriousness, I'm thankful he is providing contact. My thinking is "I got one!" because now he can pretend all he likes, but once he starts endangering my fellow newbies with the bullshit I'm on it as he kind hide in YT like they do on those forums (or think they are).
This Bank
So what's my point? Not much. Simply showing an example of someone who truly feels he has this entire nitro thing figured out, but ironically it's close to being the opposite (meaning his true skill level is not even novice yet). They do videos and jump on forums etc etc simply to IMPRESS, instead of adding true value. Using big words confuses their audience as newbies don't know better Of course I only go after the ones who come at me with the rah-rah shit when I tactfully ask them to get their facts straight when misleading newbies like they do. Many of them will say "valid point' or "that's fair" and it's all good, we move on...and some of them I've gotten to know. As in real life they live near me and we'll sync for a beer periodically.
But remember, I'm a MF'er so have no problems pointing how ridiculous the di*kheads are. No problem. I enjoy it actually. Yeah, that's right.
Get to the Point, Man!
So in today's episode, we dwelve into the category of those who feel success in this hobby is based on what they spend. Their only contribution is what they received in the mail that day. Now two things: first I'm not hating on cost, because in all candor, the price he's touting here, well, my cheapest RC is roughly that dollar amount invested. Nor am I hating on upgrading, because yeah--it's an incredibly enjoyable part of this hobby.
It's Like That
However, for you guys new please be weary of the following.
1. The tone is "This is for all the suckers who didn't believe I spent x amount on this rc vehicle.
2. You hear the word aluminum a lot. I'm not hating on aluminum, but to truly put it down, aluminum is RARELY an upgrade, and OFTEN a liability. Not across the board, but when you hear someone aluminum this and aluminum that, yet the parts they are replacing have not broken nor caused any damage...well it's most likely for show.
3. So enjoy while he takes out a calculator and proves to us all how successful he's been at purchasing parts. No doubt he lays it down...except there is little if any intel on WHY he bought them, which I would think is what is TRULY important. Not attempting to make yourself look "better" than the viewer.
